Easy, Precise Liquid Handling for Microbiologists

Gilson Pipetting Aid

You can now handle liquid volumes in the 1ml to 100ml range with greater ease, control and complete safety using the Gilson Pipetting Aid and new serological pipettes from Anachem. Ideal for buffer or media preparations, large-volume sampling and dilutions, this system ensures fast, precise and fatigue free liquid dispensing.

The Pipetting Aid provides rapid, precise, accurate, controlled pipetting. Its powerful, rechargeable, environmentally friendly NiMH battery allows up to 8 hours of continuous work. Its high aspiration speed fills a 25ml pipette in only 4 seconds. The safety valve and replaceable membrane filter protects its mechanism from contamination by the vapours of solutions being drawn into the pipette.

Support 'wings' enables you to rest it on the bench with a pipette still attached without risking contamination. The optional charging stand provides convenient storage and means the Gilson Pipetting Aid is always fully charged and ready to use.

Anachem now also supplies an extensive range of crystal clear polystyrene, serological pipettes for use with the Gilson Pipetting Aid. These include standard narrow tip pipettes from 1ml to 50ml for general laboratory procedures. Microbiologists have a great choice of designs for their applications. Wide tip pipettes (5ml & 10ml) and open end pipettes (1ml to 10ml) enable easy handling of viscous solutions, great for use in food microbiology or the cosmetics industry or for transferring cells or suspensions. 1.1 & 2.2ml milk and bacteriological pipettes are also available. For improved comfort the shorter ergonomic pipettes (5ml & 10ml) are perfect for working in confined areas or tissue culture hoods. All pipettes are available sterile and offer great value for money.
