Clinical - Training

In this webinar, we will review the basic structure, content, and benefits of a high-quality document andrecord control program in general, and then describe how to build a program specifically for a hospitalbasedclinical laboratory.

Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to:
  • Provide five examples of documents used in a hospital laboratory.
  • Describe the relationships between policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Discuss, in detail, an example of a policy for a document and record control program.
  • Name two core procedures that a laboratory would need in order to run such a program.
