Summary:Clinical - Web Seminar
Purified water is a critical reagent used in clinical laboratory testing. This program will review criteria used to specify purity that is fit for purpose; testing to monitor that water meets the specifications; and maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain performance of a water purification and distribution system. Considerations when using prepackaged purified water will also be covered.
Objectives: At the conclusion of this program, the participant will be able to
- Describe the specifications for water purity.
- Demonstrate performance of correct water quality monitoring.
- Maintain water systems to meet quality specifications.
