Steam Sterilization Validation to Meet European Requirements
The PDA Web Seminar will provide a general overview of the primary European standards for moist heat steam sterilization autoclave validation. The following standards are reviewed and discussed in this presentation: HTM 2010, EN 285, EN 554 and EN 556. In addition, this presentation reviews the typical approach for moist heat steam sterilization autoclave validation in the United States. Comparisons are made between the European and US requirements and a methodology is discussed on how to meet both.
