BioVeris Listed on NASDAQ

BioVeris Corporation have announced that it has been added to the NASDAQ Biotechnology Index, effective May 24, 2004. The NASDAQ Biotechnology Index is designed to measure the performance of a cross section of NASDAQ National Market-listed companies that are classified according to the FTSE™ Global Classification System as either biotechnology or pharmaceutical.

Companies included in the Index meet specific eligibility requirements including market capitalization of at least $200 million and an average daily trading volume of at least 100,000 shares among other criteria. The Index, founded in 1993, serves as the basis for the iShares NASDAQ Biotechnology Index Fund (SM) (IBB).
Based on electrochemiluminescence technology, BioVeris supplies assays for the life sciences, clinical applications and industrial/biodefense areas.
